Zul Ariffin, Azira Shafinaz, film Religious Riders 2. Astro Shaw and Skop Productions have once again teamed up to produce the latest film from the continuation of the film Penunggang Agama which has received an overwhelming response of RM3 million. The thriller horror film, Religious Rider 2 will find viewers starting October 19, on Astro First, channel 480.
The sequel film still retains its main lead, the country’s popular actor, Zul Ariffin as Amir, along with actress, singer and host Azira Shafinaz as Anna. In addition, new characters are introduced such as Father Michael who is played by Tony Eusoff as a pastor.
Religious Riders 2 is a continuation of the story of Amir and Anna being harassed by Huda due to old grudges. In the meantime, a son of Anna’s student named Anim disappears suddenly upon returning from a recitation class run by Anna. Both Anim’s parents enlist the help of Amir and Anna to find their child.
Meanwhile, Amir became obsessed with his side job, which was to treat diseases and disorders of the subtle beings because of the lucrative rewards he received. Amir’s prowess in healing his patients was also spread on social media and that made him more comfortable with the title of Ustaz. Not only that, but Amir changed his appearance by always wearing a white robe and a cap.
The presence of a priest named Father Michael who is also searching for the missing Anim, has challenged Amir’s ego and credibility. Amir suspects Father Michael and believes the man has a hidden agenda.
What has the loss of this little boy got to do with Huda’s old grudge? Everything will be answered in the movie Penunggang Agama 2.
